If you’d told my college self, as I was studying International Relations at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, that there was a career field where I could put my mathematical and logistical thinking skills to use while creating beautiful visualizations to tell hidden stories, I would have kissed you for saving me years of uncertainty.

While I loved learning more about the world outside of the teeny tiny town I grew up in, I knew I hadn’t found my calling. This revelation sparked seven years working in Chicago’s creative industry, where I learned that every successful project starts with understanding, asking the right questions, and communicating your ideas clearly.

Creativity taught me how to think differently. Analytics taught me how to prove it.

Today I’m combining both worlds by building data-driven solutions that are as insightful as they are accessible. Whether I’m cleaning messy datasets, creating interactive dashboards, or uncovering trends that help drive better decisions, I enjoy turning complex information into clear, actionable insights.

Fortunately, taking the scenic route to get here has given me a perspective that’s a little different from the traditional analyst. I bring curiosity from studying global issues, innovation from years in creative direction, and analytical thinking from my transition into data. I believe the best analysis doesn’t just answer questions—it helps people ask better ones.

When I’m not working with data, you’ll probably find me exploring the local food scene, reading about global affairs, practicing yoga, or convincing myself that one more dashboard tweak will definitely make it perfect.
